AIRON supplies three different series of pneumatic cylinders compliant with ISO 15552: the BF, BP and BT series. These three cylinder series essentially differ in terms of the type of barrel, which in turn determines the type of magnetic switch that can be fitted. On the BF series an extruded aluminium barrel is fitted. Special housings have been machined along the barrel longitudinally; these allow the cylinder to be equipped with miniature (fold-away) low- oltage switches or switches of the traditional type with higher power and voltage ratings. After the switch has been inserted in the grooved housing, to which it is secured by a fixing screw, it is safely protected from any accidental impact.
